YMH partners with PEP

Power Edge Pro

YMH is very pleased to be the 1st minor hockey association in Saskatchewan to be aligned with Power Edge Pro (PEP).  PEP provides our Coaches and our Players with the training and tools to positively impact the long term development of our athletes.

To kick off the 2018-2019 season, PEP founders Joe Quinn and Nick Quinn will be in Yorkton on September 27th thru 30th training our YMH Coaches in classroom and on-ice to use the PEP system and allowing our Players to participate in some  preseason training!

YMH has made a significant investment in this PEP program, and having Coaches trained to effectively use the system throughout the season is very important to maximizing the value and development of YMH players.  YMH Coaching Applicants who have been chosen to Head Coach or Assistant Coach in the 2018-2019 seasons will be expected to attend PEP in-class training on the evening of Thursday, September 27th, and some on ice sessions September 28, 29, 30, 2018 (No registration required, but please mark your calendar if you have applied to Coach).
We encourage all interested coaches to submit YMH coaching applications soon - CLICK HERE.

Players are invited to participate in the on-ice Power Edge Pro training during the Yorkton Camp offered September 28 thru 30th (see poster). For player registration, click link below.

"PEP is very excited to have Yorkton Minor Hockey as our first minor hockey development partner in the province of Saskatchewan.  Through innovative partnerships such as this, smaller communities outside of major population centers can still receive exceptional skills training and develop at a high level through PEP's Reactive Countering TrainingTM system, equipment, and resources. Yorkton Minor Hockey's desire to provide world-class training to its association members will pay dividends for player and coach development, and we look forward to watching their success in the near future. Even more importantly, however, we know that players and coaches alike with have a tremendous amount of fun during their PEP sessions, and that is really what it is all about."  - Joe Quinn, Founder & CEO, Power Edge Pro Hockey
