Thanks to All Participants in the Mosaic Mural Dedication.  It was a wonderful celebration of our school's namesake Dr. Percy Julian.  The Oak Park Education Foundation along with artist, Tracy Van Duinen, Julian Art Teachers and Students brought this idea to life over the summer.  Faith Julian, Dr. Julian's daughter gave us a true look into the life of Dr. Julian and spoke on her father's behalf.  "To the students here today, my father's message would be that no matter what obstacles face you in this life, dare to overcome them.  Dare to dream. Dare to believe in yourself. Do your best at whatever you undertake.  Maintain excellence in your studies."  Thanks also goes to the Spoken Word Students who helped make this a memorable event for all!  For more details about this event, please read this article published in the Oak Leaves on Friday, August 31.

Art Club offers members a wide variety of opportunities to work on student led projects in a social atmosphere. Students will participate in fine, applied, and multi-media based art activities.
