Zero Waste Conference

Are you interested in networking with zero waste and minimal waste enthusiasts in the Portland area, while learning about the latest tips, regulations, and initiatives?
Join us for Portland’s first Zero Waste Conference.

What is Zero Waste?
It’s a popular approach that many people are adopting to reduce the amount of material they generate that is being sent to landfills or incinerators. It can be something done by an individual, a household, an organization or a business.

What is the Zero Waste Conference?
The Zero Waste Conference is a sustainability learning experience featuring regionally-targeted content and recognized leaders from the community.
Its mission is to empower attendees with the information, tools, and connections to “Make Portland Green Again”.

This event will be a “pay what you can” model. The suggested donation for attending the event is $25, though no one will be turned away for lack of funds. If you cannot afford a donation you are welcome to attend, please email president@recyclingadvocates.org to be added to the list of attendees.

Recycling Advocates 2018 Annual Meeting

Come and network with RA members and supporters, enjoy snacks, beer and wine, and hear the latest news about our BYOC campaign and other local sustainability topics.

Speakers include Jules Bailey, who will give us an update on OBRC's activities, including opening new BottleDrop centers around the state and overseeing the expanded Bottle Refill program.

Attendance is free.
Doors open at 6:30 PM, the program begins at 7:00 PM.
