 BedPosts Business Club has become aware of a unique promotional pen that serves as a business card. Our secretary, Kathleen Panek of Gillum House B&B in the US, has been using them and has had some made for BedPosts to give out at trade shows as well as to individuals. She has given the BedPosts pens to people in the US whom she knows travel to the UK. Mary Marrow of Firs Cottage has purchased a pack with her own B&B details.
You will soon be receiving 2 examples of this in the mail, one of the BedPosts pens and one of Gillum House to see what an accommodation provider's pen can look like. To make the pen, pull the point down on the back, then squeeze on the fold lines to make a triangle and you have a pen – and it does write. Then  open it up, push the point back into place, and it will fit in a wallet or card case.
BedPosts Club cannot fund a marketing tool for any one accommodation, however we can partner with a Club member (only Club members are eligible). You will notice there are 3 panels - in return for ordering pens for your own business and putting www.BedPosts.uk on one of the panels, BedPosts Club will retrospectively pay you a £50 marketing contribution - equivalent to approx 1/3 cost - towards the cost of your first purchase. For purposes of ease, convenience and cost the £50, on proof of purchase of the pens, will be paid by Internet faster payment method (BACS) to a UK-based bank or building society account. This will require the buyer to email account details for payment to The Treasurer, Dennis Pearson.
 The minimum number of pens per order is 250. To avoid excessive shipping costs, the pens have to be ordered directly by the accommodation owner with the Pen Company of America (https://www.pencoamerica.com/) - order Foldzflat pens shown on the home page - and shipped to Kathleen Panek at Gillum House in West Virginia. She is coming to the UK in November and will bring the pens in her luggage. The cost (with shipping to Kathleen) is $203.50 USD which for Mary equalled £153.83. This is an estimate that will depend on the rate of exchange at the time your credit card is charged.
