SJIWFF29 FESTIVAL LINEUP IS HERE!

It's official! Our #SJIWFF29 lineup is out! We are incredibly excited to be featuring TWO local films for our opening and closing.

Our ExxonMobil Opening Night Gala presents An Audience of Chairs directed by St. John's Native Deanne Foley on October 17. Lead actress Carolina Bartczak (X-Men: Apocolypse) joins the team on the red carpet and will also be featured on the Lunch with the Filmmakers panel the next day.

Hopeless Romantic fitting right at home in the Festival will be featured at our Emera NL Closing Night Gala on October 21. Directors Deanne Foley, Latonia Hartery, Martine Blue, Megan Wennberg, Ruth Lawrence, Stephanie Clattenburg and lead actor Lynda Boyd will be joining us that night, as well as earlier that day at Brunch with Hopeless Romantic.

The high number of local shorts is a testament that film is alive and well in Newfoundland and Labrador. View the full Festival lineup and ticket information. Get your tickets soon as we're almost sold out for Opening as well as several other screenings!
