High Holiday Appeal

It is a special mitzvah, during these days
between Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur,
to give tzedakah and donate
to support your Jewish community.
Follow your T'shuva of the heart with T'shuva of action.

Your participation in our High Holiday Appeal,
no matter how small or large,
helps to keep our synagogue open
and accessible to all, year round.

Your support, your generosity and commitment
Helps to continue our mission, creating a home
for Jewish spiritual, cultural, intellectual
and artistic life on Martha’s Vineyard.

Donations and Tributes
                      Local and Global Tzedakah

Tzedakah: from the Hebrew root for justice, charitable giving.

Local needy families on the Vineyard have been assisted through generous donations from the Hebrew Center: We have helped with transportation to pediatric medical appointments, utilities assistance and many other challenging life situations.

Global Tzedakah funds have gone to hurricane ravaged cities, environmental advocacy abroad and, with your support, to aid detained children in reuniting with their parents.

Your donations are desperately needed and very much appreciated by those who benefit from them.
