Hello families!
I've heard that not everyone caught wind of our first Monday family meal being tonight, Sept 10th - apologies for long emails on my part and spam filters and missed church announcements! At our last meal together, folks asked for a Monday night and a Wednesday night, so both are on till Advent! This is so rad.
Swing by the grocery story to get something ready-made if there's not enough cooking/ prep time today. The food brings us together, but the real substance is community and conversation with one another ❤

Family Meal Dates :: Our mid-week family meal dates have been confirmed - the second Monday and fourth Wednesday in September, October and November (Sept 10, 26; Oct 8, 24; Nov 12, 28). Family meals are true pot-luck and so far, it's always worked out that we have enough for all! Supper is from 5-6 and child care is from 6-7 while the adults have time together for conversation and support. 'Family' means you - just as you are, and who you are regardless of your marital status, sexual orientation, gender identity, or who is in your family.

Oak Bay Night Market :: Wednesday Sept 12 is the final in Oak Bay Night Market's season. We've been hosting a free creative arts booth at each Market. This week we're making paper lanterns, noting the shift into fall and reminding us of the Light within us all. Art Booth hosts are still needed to support Tressa, Candis and Doug. Point of Grace Play Group :: beings again, very soon!, on Tuesday September 18. All are welcome! Point of Grace is for Babies to 4 year olds with their carers. Coffee, tea and a simple children's snack are provided. This is the 4th year of our free drop in play group!
