A time of reflection

The changing season and cooler temperatures mark a winding down of the motorcycle season for many Canadians.

This fall we recognize and celebrate the many accomplishments of motorcyclists and organizations that have made a positive impact on the industry during the Motorcycle Hall of Fame induction banquet and reunion. Congratulations to this year’s inductees!

Fall also signals MCC’s annual general meeting. This is a time to reflect back on our successes and accomplishments, and to look ahead to new goals and initiatives.

My time as Chair is coming to an end, and I am proud of our many accomplishments over the years, including the impact of our safety campaign, and of the direction this organization is heading. I wish all the best to the new chair and board of directors as MCC continues to represent motorcyclists at a national level, and champions motorcycle safety across Canada.

Ride safe!
Dave Millier, Chair

Helmet Exemption Statement
In response to concerns about helmet exemptions, MCC has issued this official statement:

The Motorcyclists Confederation of Canada (MCC) does not support the decision of provinces who exempt any Canadian motorcyclist from wearing an approved helmet. The MCC and its member organizations hope motorcyclists will make smart choices and encourage riders to wear “All The Gear, All The Time”.
