Celebrating Constitution & Citizenship Day
Program: 2 p.m. ~ Karin Temple
"Reflections from a German Immigrant"

Join us to celebrate the signing of the U.S. Constitution (September, 1787) and the responsibilities and privileges that come with U.S. Citizenship. Our speaker, Karin Temple, grew up in Germany during WW2 and immigrated to the U.S. in 1967. She eventually settled in Astoria where she taught German, French, literature and writing at Clatsop Community College. She has authored six poetry books and facilitates monthly labyrinth walks.

You're invited to her program, "Reflections from a German Immigrant" at 2 p.m. Also, enjoy our 'Vintage Treasures from Germany' on special display.
Come see the newly restored cupola, outside in our 'Artifact Alley' thanks to our local Historic Preservation School. You can read about it in the The Daily Astorian, http://www.dailyastorian.com/ear/20180907/in-one-ear-cupola-makeover
