The Lost Cow
Told by Pastor Krishna K.
After we learn the stories here, we go back to our field and tell them to the people. And when they hear the stories, they believe! They are surprised by that.
The way I used to teach the Bible, I didn't teach it systematically. But now we are learning the stories very systematically. And we tell the whole story, which helps people understand very clearly.
Not long ago, I went to a new village named Borogudwa and told them a story about Joseph, about how faithful he was. Upon hearing the story, a family named Balradzoo believed and came to the LORD.
Then one day something happened. They had bought a cow, but it got lost. They searched and searched for a week, but couldn't find it anywhere.
Finally, they decided, "If we are able to find our lost cow, we will give 1000 rupees to the church as a thank offering." Then they prayed.
Just two days later, that cow came back to their house by itself! They were so surprised, and overwhelmed with joy.
I cannot tell you strongly enough how beneficial it is for us to learn these stories. They are such a great help in my ministry.

Jesus told them a story: “If a man has 100 sheep and one of them gets lost, what will he do? Won’t he leave the 99 others and go and search for the one that is lost until he finds it? And when he has found it, he lays it on his shoulders, rejoicing. When he arrives home, he calls all his friends and neighbors, saying, ‘Rejoice with me because I have found my lost sheep.’ In the same way, there is more joy in heaven over one lost sinner who repents and returns to God than over 99 others who are righteous and haven’t strayed away!"
-Matthew 15
The Sorcerer's Brother
Last month I went to another village where I met a 50-yr-old man named Lengka Pallikah. He took me to his house to meet his family.
We started talking and he shared that his older brother is a sorcerer. The other villagers came to hate his brother, and they expelled him from their village.
Because of his brother, the villagers would have nothing to do with the family. As we talked, I could feel how sad they were in this situation.
So I told them, "Listen, don't worry. There is a solution. There is one God who created heaven and earth and he can solve your problem. Just believe."
I told them the story of the Creation of the world, and also how God created human beings in his own likeness and image.
They believed that story and were really amazed because it was the first time they had ever heard a story like this.
I explained, "Look, there is the real and true God. But most people are serving false gods."
I told them, "If you have any kind of problem, you can contact us and we will try to help you." After a few minutes of conversation, I said, "If you'd like, I can pray for your family?"
They replied, "Sir, please pray for us." So I prayed in that house.
