Hotel Reservations For October Presbytery

 Discounted Hotel Corporate Rate at Hampton Inn for the October Presbytery Meeting is available until September 19. A limited number of rooms are being held but you must make your reservation now using the information found at presbycc.org/calendar/packets/  The discount expires Sept 19.  This link is also where the packet will be posted in early October.

The regular meeting of Presbytery is Saturday, October 20, at St Andrews- Covenant PC in Wilmington at which time we will be honoring Bill Reinhold of the occasion of his retirement. The offering will be in support of the Presbyterian Youth Council Scholarships and Activities.


Hurricane Florence Information:

All presbytery events have been canceled for the remainder of this week. Assuming a power outage, the Presbytery office will remain closed until power is restored in Elizabethtown. Alternative contact information for Presbytery staff  was provided in the email sent earlier this week. It is found here. That message also contains useful preparations reminders for churches, pastors and individuals.

Please notify the Presbytery of damage to churches. We will be ready to support recovery efforts throughout the Presbytery.

CHURCH MILESTONE Celebrations


150 Years!

 

Panthersford Presbyterian Church, invite you  to Celebrate their 150th Church Anniversary & Homecoming Church ImageOctober 27th and 28th, 2018.  Beginning the celebration with the 150th Anniversary Banquet, which will be held at the St. Joseph Miracle Revival Center, Family Life Center, 4657 Daniel McLeod Road, Red Springs, NC 28377 on Saturday October, 27th, 2018, 6PM. With speaker will be the Rev. Dr. Jerry Cannon of C.N. Jenkins Memorial Presbyterian Church in Charlotte. Tickets for the banquet are $20.00 for adults and $10.00 for youth, age 12 and under.

On Sunday, October 28th, this celebration continues with the 11:00am morning worship service in which Pastor Willie J. McCaskill will deliver an inspiring celebratory message. Immediately following the 11:00am Service a repast will be served.  The Evening service will begin at 3:00pm with Apostle Anthony Buie of St. Joseph Miracle Revival Center and the St. Joseph Miracle Revival Choir will join us in Jubilee.
