It has been a season of great change here on the American side of True Impact Ministries. God started the change by calling Susie home in March. He continues to lead us in this change. TIM now has three new board members, a new executive director and have elected new officers. Take a look at our new leadership.

Over the next few months, these leaders will be working hard to outline what is next for True Impact Ministries. Over the last 19 years, the Stewarts, True Impact Ministries and our supporters like you have built school buildings, dormitories, kitchens and water projects as well as provided sponsorships for hundreds of children.
As a nearly new group of leaders, we want to honor what has been done with the work we will be doing. We are also striving to bring glory to the Lord in all we do here and in Uganda. “Not to us, O LORD, not to us, But to your name give glory because of your loving kindness, because of Your truth.” Psalm 115:1 NASB Look for more updates as we outline and fill in the details of our plans for the next few years.

A quick note about our trip in June. Our group of 26 visited all True Impact Ministries locations. We spent time with the children at each location, playing football (soccer) and other games. We also did crafts and held Bible study classes. The culmination of our trip was our first visit to Truth Christian School. We raised money and helped build a girl’s dormitory that was dedicated to the memory of Susie Stewart. We want to thank you all for your prayers and your contributions. The God of Wonders is using them for great things.

Speaking of our new school, Truth Christian School is just outside of Masaka, Uganda. We purchased this school and approximately 26 acres of farmland in 2017 and since then have been working on securing all the legal documents to finally put the school and the land in our name. We are close to completing this, but have a few major expenses remaining. We also have a few significant expenses remaining related to finishing the girl’s dormitory, totaling approximately $5,000. Initial construction costs did not include adding a ceiling or the security wall around the building.
