Letter Focus:  H

Learning Objectives:

1. I can describe the jobs of an author and illustrator.
2. I can sequence the life-cycle of a butterfly and sequence the characters in Brown Bear, Brown Bear.
3. I can count using one-to-one correspondence during various activities.

Teacher Notes:
Thank you to all of our families who were able to attend our Multi-Cultural Family Potluck Dinner on Friday. Each family decorated a large felt leaf that will be hung in the classroom. If you were unable to attend, but would like to decorate a leaf to be included in the display please let us know, we have extras.
On Saturday our playground got a fresh layer of mulch and other improvements thanks to our Thrivent Action team, board members, staff, and family volunteers.
Also, last week we were very excited to add THREE new students; Hudson (welcome back!), Lynca, and Ishmael.

Ask your child if they can recite one of our snack time prayers. We have a couple different ones. This is one Pastor Groth taught us:
Thank you for the world so sweet.
Thank you for the food we eat.
Thank you for the birds that sing.
Thank you God for everything.
