Indicators of climate change are under development
As part of its work to monitor and assess the trends and impacts of changing climatic conditions, the Chesapeake Bay Program plans to publish six climate-related indicators on ChesapeakeProgress this fall, from air and stream temperatures to river floods and relative sea level rise.

Partnership exceeds pollution reducing targets for phosphorus, sediment 
According to the Watershed Model, pollution-reducing practices are in place to achieve 40 percent of the nitrogen reductions, 87 percent of the phosphorus reductions and 67 percent of the sediment reductions needed to attain water quality standards as described in the Chesapeake Bay Total Maximum Daily Load.
