Table Talk Math Summer Course Bundle
How It Works

Again, thank you for the comments and questions you shared from the previous email. Your feedback is making the courses better already! It gets me fired up that there is this much excitement around helping kids over the summer, so it is the perfect segue.

In case you missed my previous messages, I have brought on a team of experienced and incredible educators to build summer courses that keep students strong in their mathematical thinking, from 1st through 5th grade. The content will be available over the summer, but I want to give you a head start in registering! To keep my sanity in check, I will be limiting the number of schools that can register; make sure yours is one of them.

But first, the biggest concerns I keep hearing:

1. I don't want my students to have summer homework.
I understand and respect that. As the father of a 3rd grade student, we were busy for a lot of the summer. However, I know how important it is to stay sharp, so we spent a few minutes every five days (not too strictly) talking about the lessons.

2. What is the content going to look like?
While I can't share out the entirety of the content until we get closer to summer, I want to give you a little teaser of one lesson. The videos are meant to be a support, with many of the parents saying that their kids didn't need to watch them. Great!

3. Is it going to be expensive?
My goal with this project is to create something that is accessible and affordable, whether it is for individual users, site level teams, or an entire school. You will see pricing on Friday, but if you want a head start, email me and I'll fill you in.

4. Why register so soon?
I know that schools (and parents) have a lot going on, and that decisions need to be made early. Therefore, this is a way to register now and have it be ready for Day 1 of summer. Also, I will be sending out extra prompts and ideas throughout the year to those who are registered by November 1st.

Here is a sample of one lesson in the course for incoming 3rd graders.

So Now What?

In two days, I will be sending you a link to register for the course. As a parent, you are welcome to register individually, but I would truly recommend that you talk with your child's school about a site license.

As educators, this will be a cost-effective and engaging way to keep your students fresh throughout the summer with mathematics prompts and ideas that are standards-based, interesting, and engaging.

As elementary site administrators, this is your opportunity to keep your entire school moving forward throughout the summer.

In the next email, I will give you a link to register and a promo code for a great discount that I hope you take advantage of while it lasts!

The offer will only be around until November 1st, so start convincing the right people to show interest and I'll talk with you in a couple days.

OK now, what questions do you have for me that I can clarify in the next email?

Thank you for bringing math to the table!
