Culinary Workshops
It's been a while.... the days are warming up, the evenings are getting lighter and before you know it we will all be wishing each other Merry Christmas! On that note it seems like a good time to announce that our Christmas Entertaining Workshops are back for 2018 and the dates are below. We know it is only September, but we have been getting requests already - and we know how it is good to get organised coming into the "silly season". 

We do have some spare dates in early-December if you are keen to book a group workshop with your friends or team from work, just get in touch and we will see what we can do.  

We have four very special Author Events planned over the next couple of months, so watch out for the info coming soon to your mailbox!

Just a reminder that we always enjoy hosting private groups - so if you have 8 or more guests we can do a workshop just for you. 
"Book & Cook" Quick + Simple = Delicious - $55 - Monday 24 September - 6.45pm: This is a repeat of our sold out "Book & Cook" Workshop. Whether  you are new to cooking or your meals just need a rev-up, then this is the workshop for you.  "Quick + Simple = Delicious" proves that if you use just a few simple ingredients (plus a few store-cupboard essentials like oil and flour etc) and throw in a little know-how, the result is delicious food with maximum flavour and minimum fuss: 

sourdough + tomatoes + olives + garlic + chicken = Sicilian chicken

traybake pastry case + vanilla ice cream + peaches + raspberries = peach melba tart.

South East Asian Street Food $55 - Monday 8 October - 6.45pm  It's back because people keep on asking! This is one of our most popular workshop menu's, based on the "street food" found in Vietnam, Thailand & Laos. The flavours are tasty, fresh and spicy, and the ingredients simple - all the better for entertaining. Click here to book for South East Asian Street Food - Monday 8 October - 6.45pm (limited availability).
Coastal Moroccan $55 - Thursday 18 October - 6.45pm The cuisine of Morocco is extremely refined, influenced over the centuries by traders from many Lands. It is defined by a communal style of eating, with many dishes shared around the table. In this workshop we focus on the coast, where seafaring traders came and went leaving behind a cultural melting pot of ingredients.  Think lovely, fresh, fishy & delicious. Viva Mexico - $60 - Thursday 1 November - 6.45pm:  Bursting with complex bold flavours – rich, colourful and yes, sometimes hot and spicy – the best Mexican food is rarely found in restaurants. Christmas Entertaining - $60 - Sunday 18 November + Sunday 2 December - midday :  Our Christmas Entertaining Workshops are hugely popular year-after-year. We know that just about everyone wants to come again - and once again it's an all new menu for 2017. This is "everything but the ham" - simple starters, sensational salads + sides, and superb desserts.
