Sept 11th Four Ball Match Play

Tonight some of the ladies played Four Ball Match Play as part of the Member/Guest Shotgun event.

Here are the results:

Group 1
Megan Bawn and Michele Walma won 4 and 2 over Andrea Wilson and Sharon Main

Group 2
Jeannette Lilley and Marie Moloughney won 4 and 2 over Lianna Chabot and Anne Stubbings

Group 3
Jacqui Mutch and Cathy Ollerhead won 2 and 1 over Kendall Balchen and Michele Steers

Group 4
Noelle Andrews and Julie Oakley won 3 and 1 over Carol Buchinski and Anne Jessop

The overall winning team - Megan Bawn and Michele Walma. This is based on quality of win and overall score. In second place was the team of Jeannette Lilley and Marie Moloughney. Four Ball Match Play prizes are being handed out at the Season Closer.

Contratulations to Julie Oakley who won closest to the line on the 16th hole and closest to the pin on the 12th hole. Julie also managed to get an almost hole-in-one on that par 3. She had a birdie and with her handicap stroke, got a net score of one!

Thanks also to our members who came out to play for fun. It was a great night for golf.

A reminder about the last day of golf for the season!

Wednesday, September 19th

Due to a tournament conflict league night has been moved to Wednesday. This is the last official York-Simcoe league night.
Same block of tee times for golf (3pm block or 5pm block).
Call to reserve your tee time.

Season Closing Banquet & Annual General Meeting

Join your fellow league members for our closing banquet on Tues. Sept 25th.

Prizes for our league play participants, the winner of Match Play and more! The Annual General Meeting closes out the evening.

NOTE: There is no golf scheduled as part of this event.

Where: Red Crest Bistro

Cocktails: 5:30pm
Dinner: 6:30pm
Annual General Meeting: 7:30pm
