The Friends of the Boudinot-Southard-Ross Estate (FoBSR) launch into fall as Part 2 of the Music Series picks up on Sept. 22, which coincides with the first day of autumn. The following weekend, September 29 & 30, is a busy one at the Ross Farm as the FoBSR will host four ARTsee artists in the manor house as a satellite location during ARTsee’s free Open Studio Tour.
Also occurring that Saturday, September 29th, on site at the Farm is our third annual outdoor dining event which we are calling the Harvest Cookout! We’ve changed things up a bit to present a casual, fun evening on the property at a lower price than previous years. Unchanged is the fact that our chef and his assistants will present a delicious meal with choices to please everyone. A few selections of the evening meal will be representative of the harvest from Boudinot’s Giving Garden. This fundraiser will help the FoBSR continue to meet its mission of creating historical, educational and cultural events that enhance the public’s understanding of the historical legacy of the estate and the contributions of the Elias Boudinot, Samuel Southard and Edmund Ross families.
Check out the posters that follow for more information on each of these events. Please keep in mind that the Studio Tour is free and open to the public from noon to 5 p.m. both days, but the Harvest Cookout requires advance ticketing and walk-ins cannot be accommodated. Ticket deadline for the Cookout is next week, September 19!
Watch for our next full-length newsletter at the end of this month that will be bursting with even more events in October, including an update on Boudinot's Giving Garden, details on one more concert, our annual History Weekend , Trilogy's Halloween Tour...and more!
