Ashland artist Robin Roberts stopped by the Ohio Arts Council's Riffe Gallery for a plein air painting demonstration. In two hours, he created a piece bursting with sunflowers and blue skies. Check out the time lapse video at the link below.

Art Educators As Artists postcard
ART EDUCATORS AS ARTISTS
November 1, 2018 - January 5, 2019
The Ohio Arts Council's Riffe Gallery in collaboration with the Ohio Art Education Foundation presents a juried exhibition showcasing art educators as artists. Members of the Ohio Art Education Association divisions of Elementary, Middle, Secondary, Higher Education, Museum, Supervision Policy and Administration, and Emeritus were invited to participate. Jurors for Art Educators as Artists include Carol Stewart, Elsie Sanchez, and Michael Seiler, who have selected 68 artworks from 46 Ohio educators.

Poetry Out Loud Registration is Now Open
Ohio Poetry Out Loud registration is open for the 2018-19 competition! Poetry Out Loud encourages students to learn about great poetry through memorization and recitation.
