INFO WANTED:
Do you have: Committee information, thank you’s, important dates, announcements or a celebration? Please let the office know so that we can include information in our weekly newsletters and add your info onto our church calendar.
Have you ever read Scripture verses you have read before and something very different pops out at you? In bible study we were studying John 6: 41-51 which was our gospel for the following Sunday. Verse 44 starts out; No one can come to me unless drawn by the Father who sent me. Wow, I did not come to Jesus by myself?. God drew me to Christ first! He held out his hand first and then led me to Christ!

The Message reads, The Father who sent me is in charge. He draws people to Me – that’s the only way you’ll ever come. Jesus said that and I now know that God wanted me and kept asking, I didn’t  have the power to start this relation ship, I can only accept it! Your relation ship with Jesus is because God wanted you first not the other way around. He is still holding out His hand for everyone to come..

The Council had a retreat recently to look at the Prince of Peace mission statement and ask is it still relevant? We had a great turn out and everyone got involved and studied the statement, tore it apart and put it it back together. I thought about how God had chosen us, by His Grace, to do His work. What a privilege we have been given by God.

Ask any council member about the day we spent together and prayed. The mission statement will be coming out, look at it and ask about it. Prince of Peace has a wonderful mission given to us by our Redeemer. We ask the Holy Spirit to lead and guide us.
