Coming up: A new call for Tandem Europe

Tandem Europe is tailor-made for people who work on creative solutions that make social innovation possible throughout the EU. Throughout a year-long collaboration, participants work together to co-develop cultural projects and take part in a vocational placement at each other’s organisation. The programme stimulates strategic thinking in organisational renewal processes, helps to create and sustain culturally innovative effects across sectors, disciplines and borders, and explores creative and collaborative solutions for contemporary challenges in our societies.

We're launching a new round of Tandem Europe this autumn, so keep an eye on our online channels!

Luc Mishalle performing in Amsterdam
ECF Princess Margriet Award for Culture laureate Luc Mishalle and the band Marockin' Brass will be performing at Amsterdam's Podium Mozaïek on 21 October. Mishalle's projects are always about community building, whether in Brussels neighbourhoods, across Europe or in North or West Africa. Mishalle has the ability to tap into feelings of belonging and inclusion. By doing so he gives shape to the new social composition of Europe in a musical way. The music of Marockin' Brass the result of a long-lasting love and a thorough analysis of (north)-African rhythms on which they layer their melodic lines that refer to jazz, contemporary music as well as to non-western musical vocabulary. Their music is the anthem of the new urban nomad.
