Dear <<Students>>,

Kick start your career and get to know McKinsey and GABV at the CEMS Student Board Consulting Cup.
CEMSies want to become strong leaders - but more importantly, they want to become responsible ones.
Solve real-life consulting cases with a link to sustainability and social responsibility in a team of 4-5 CEMSies from all over the world. This event is an initiative from the CEMS Student Board to challenge CEMS students from all schools in an exciting case competition and at the same time raise social responsibility awareness. The Competition will include an accredited 4h Skills Seminar which will be hosted in conjunction with the Career Forum on Friday 9 November for a selected group of c. 25 students.
Show us your skills and receive on-site mentoring and coaching from McKinsey consultants in Budapest!

To join this unique experience, apply here with a team of 4-5 students by handing in your CVs and optionally a couple of sentences to explain your motivation for applying. Please note that as our system only allows individual applications, you will need to submit CVs of all your team members in one PDF file.
Please add a short note at the end of the file listing all team member names so we can match them to the CVs. Applications close on Wednesday, 12 September

Round one
Successful teams will be invited to the first phase of the competition planned for 20 -21 September (online). You will be given 48 hours to solve a case study focused on sustainability and social responsibility, provided by GABV, the social partner of the CEMS Student Board.
You will be asked to submit your final proposals, in PowerPoint via email. Detailed instructions will be provided.
McKinsey will review all submissions and - together with GABV - will select five teams with the best solutions to the case study.

Final round
Five teams will be invited to participate in the final round of the competition which will take place in our Budapest office on Friday, 9 November (during the first day of the CEMS Career Forum).
You will receive on-site mentoring and preparation by McKinsey. How would a top-tier consultant solve a case study and how can you prepare for the perfect pitch in front of an experienced jury? After receiving valuable insights from McKinsey consultants, you will solve a second case study on-site and pitch your ideas to a jury. The top team will receive an award.
All team members must be available to attend the event to be eligible for the competition.
