Colin Kaepernick, an American Quarterback, became known when he chose to kneel on a knee, instead of stand, during the National Anthem. Then Nike made international news by featuring an advertisement supporting Kaepernick, with the tag “Believe in something. Even if it means losing everything.” Despite your political views, this is a powerful, Bible based challenge; be willing to lose it all, for what you believe. Just around the corner are three of the eight holy convocations of the Lord. Many people do not know what they are, or are too busy gearing up for Satan’s “convocation” (Halloween)… will you show that you believe in God, even if it means losing something, this fall season?

Rain or shine, we will observe Rosh Hashanah on Sunday 09 September, at 06:30pm. The Saturday in between (Shabbat Shavuh) has a service on 15 September at 03pm, and at 06:30pm is our Fall Mikveh (Baptism). Yom Kippur will be observed on 18 September, 06:30pm, and Sukkot Camping will be Saturday 22 September after service, through Wednesday 26 September at Noon. Lots of information, we know… a pamphlet, as well as event schedule, is online. So please read it over, then RSVP to office@messiahechad.org (mainly for Sukkot Camping), and invite a friend! It is not too late.

Stand for God, and His convocations. Make a special offering (i.e. $90) to the Lord (it is mentioned 25 times in Leviticus 23). Pray for our Rabbi
