Dance Demo at Amenida Seniors’ Community
Hi <<First Name>>,

Thanks to all the dancers who started the season early and participated in our first demonstration of the year. It was a great success! See the dances we did below.

If you would like to participate in dance demonstrations and need a costume, you can have a look at the collection here. (https://goo.gl/photos/7aBSYcRGxXHzGqq96) The collection is in my home and there is a sign-out sheet available.

First regular evening of dancing at Walnut Road School is Sept 13, 7-10pm. Please bring your annual fees of $80, or Sept-Dec for $35, or your drop-in fee of $4. See website for more options.

Roberto Bagnoli, master folk dance teacher, will be here for the last week of September. Take advantage! See events below.

Just so you know, all these newsletters are being archived on the SIFD website along with the Folk Dance Sundays newsletters. Have a look here: https://surreyfolkdance.org/email-archives/.

Submit announcements, articles, or other interesting tidbits for future newsletters to surreyfolkdance@gmail.com.

Extra events are optional and are listed here for your information. If a couple of hours of dancing once a week on Thursdays is as much as you want or can manage, that is fine!

Bellingham First Saturday Dances

Osem i Devet, that is, Michael Lawson on accordion, David Bilides on Tupan and singer Teodora Dimitrova are our featured First Saturday Dance band for our October 6th Party. They are wonderful!! The only rub is that it will be in our new First Saturday Party venue -- NOT THE LIBRARY -- but the Squalicum Yacht Club!

How to get there:

Squalicum Yacht Club is in Squalicum Harbor which is best accessed via Squalicum Way off from Roeder Ave which runs along the waterfront.
From Squalicum Way, turn Left onto N. Harbor Loop Drive, then turn Right onto S. Harbor Loop Drive. You will see two Yacht Clubs next to each other. The smaller to the right is the Squalicum Yacht club. The address is 2633 S. Harbor Loop Drive.

Dancing starts at 7:30 and runs to 10:30.  There is a $15 donation requested.
