Women of Hope, our organization in Honduras, is thrilled to announce that after years of negotiation, we have purchased property for the ministry center! Your generous giving has made this possible, impacting lives for the kingdom of God in the nation of Honduras.
This property will house a three story ministry and vocational training center. The land is in an ideal location in downtown San Pedro Sula, in the heart of the district where the need is the greatest. Currently, Women of Hope provides spiritual and practical help to women and girls caught in the trap of prostitution.
Three times a week women have devotions and vocational training and discipleship classes. The women learn baking, jewelry making and sewing. The monthly evangelistic meetings which are the highlight of the month are often lead by testimonies from the Nicaraguan women from House of Hope. This new facility will be a beacon to draw the women. The help provided at this new center will help change lives for generations to come.

House of Hope is growing like never before. Hundreds of women are coming to House of Hope. Each Tuesday morning dozens of new women visit House of Hope for the very first time. We have increased the buses from two to four each Tuesday and we do not have enough chairs or tables for the women to work. It is so exciting to see these women hungry for the Lord and experiencing the transformational power of Christ in record numbers.
You are making a difference! The current crisis in Nicaragua is causing wide spread hunger. The need is overwhelming. Your generous donations are providing desperately needed food for the women during this critical time. For the past three months, the House of Hope food distribution has been helping the women feed their children.
House of Hope is also experiencing record numbers of new women moving to House of Hope to join the residential program. Six new women have moved to House of Hope from the brothels over the last few months. These women are hungry for the Lord and growing in Him.

Christmas Sales
The Tuesday morning women at House of Hope earn an income by creating beautiful hand made products. The income from selling the products is what helps many women be able to feed their children and stay out of prostitution. A hundred percent of the sales proceeds helps the women feed their children and stay out of prostitution. Unfortunately, the current crisis in Nicaragua is preventing teams from visiting the country and purchasing the products that the women make.
We desperately need your help to sell these products more than ever. There are two steps that you can take.
1) During the upcoming fall and Christmas season consider selling House of Hope products at your church, office or at your school. We will send you the products on consignment from those that we have available in the US.
2) Please check out our online store for products to purchase. Stocking stuffers and gifts and more. There are many ways to gift our products this holiday season!
