The First Annual Psychosynthesis Coaching Symposium
- Wednesday 14th November 2018

Dear <<First Name>>

We are delighted to invite you to the rescheduled First Annual Psychosynthesis Coaching Symposium! This will now be held at NCVO in King’s Cross, London on Wednesday 14th November 2018, from 09:30 to 17:30. Please save this date!

As well as inviting all PGCPLC and Institute coaching students and graduates, we are opening up the event to a wider audience of leadership coaches.  The cost is £100+VAT or £80+VAT with the early bird discount (must book by 7th October). You can book a place here on Eventbrite.

The symposium is an opportunity for psychosynthesis coaches from different training backgrounds to connect with the wider psychosynthesis coaching community, as well as for leadership coaches new to psychosynthesis to get a taste for this psychospiritual approach.

Rather ambitiously, we want this event to bring together in one day, many leading-edge coaching approaches which are so brilliantly synthesised within the holistic and integrative psychology of psychosynthesis – including systemic, somatic, developmental and mindfulness coaching.

This counts as a CPD learning day in its own right and is set within the wider context of making a powerful contribution in the leadership and organisational world.

The sessions and themes will include:

Psychospiritual coaching– Roger Evans speaking about his evolving model of Trifocal Vision.

Coaching in a VUCA world– Keith Silverster and Heather Wignall will be exploring these four aspects (Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity and Ambiguity) both experientially and theoretically, and looking at ways Adaptive Leadership can be used in coaching to support individuals in organisational contexts and wider systems.

Somatic coaching – different ways of working with the body and our felt sense in leadership coaching and personal development.  We are currently in discussions to set up at least one session on this theme.

Systemic coaching and constellations – rich new resources, ideas, ways of working and creativity, with Ruth Rochelle.

Mindfulness, psychosynthesis and coaching – a psychosynthetic perspective on mindfulness and a group mindfulness exercise with Keith Hackett.

Neuro-psychology for coaching – is it telling us anything new? How do we reconcile the scientific with the psycho-spiritual?

Developmental thinking for coaching – Aubyn will lead a session on realigning Laloux’s ‘teal revolution’ for coaches by seeing evolutionary as a place to come from rather than a place to get to.

We are still inviting session leaders and shaping the day, but we will finalise and send out the agenda within a couple of weeks. There will be a mix of whole group sessions as well as breakout sessions with two or three options to choose from. Aubyn and Paul will start and end the day with the whole group.

Refreshments all day and NCVO buffet lunch at 1pm are included in the price.

We look forward to sharing a great day with you

Aubyn, Paul and Rachel
