Hi,
Now that it is officially Fall I feel like I am switching into high gear.
On October 27-28 I am teaching a workshop at District Clay (Washington, DC). Details about Planting a Garden of Ceramic Ideas are on their website here (where one can also sign up).
One can attend my Friday night talk (October 26, 6:30-8:30 pm) whether or not you're taking the workshop. So we know how many to expect please sign up via Eventbrite here.
I have work in the exhibit Floating Islands: Ceramic Ikebana Vessels, September 29 - October 28 at District Clay following its current installation at the Japan Information and Cultural Center.
On Friday I take off, travelling to the Archie Bray in Helena, Montana for Cultural Confluence a gathering of international wood firing potters. After our several weeks of working together, there's a great line-up of artists doing demos and presentations during the concluding three-day symposium.
I will be showing my work at Pottery on the Hill the first weekend in November (11/2-11/4) in Washington, DC.
Warren and I will have our open studio the second weekend of December where you can see our work in its native environment. For us it's always a great chance to catch up and chat while you get a close look at new and old work.
