Ruth Beer Bletzinger of RuthieLine Jewelry Designs
Ruthie of “RuthieLine Jewelry Designs†is a resident of Silver Spring and a woman of several trades. She is busy making her handcrafted sterling silver and copper jewelry, volunteering and teaching classes (yes, you can learn from her!) at our store, and attending arts and craft fairs all over the area.
When asked about what excites her about jewelry making, Ruthie told us: “There’s a wellspring of satisfaction that comes from making things and sharing the experience with both fellow makers and folks who appreciate handmade objects.â€
She also adores the wonderful creative journey, the process itself. She is inspired by materials and an array of techniques with their twists and turns, which you will see in the expertise she displays in her fabulous designs. She also appreciates ideas from her customers and conversations with artists. Ultimately, anything and everything is of inspiration to her.
Ruthie would love to meet you in person. She's at Gala Artisan Jewelry & Gifts Sunday afternoons, noon to 5 pm, so please drop by. She will be there ready to share her creative story and to learn from you!
