By 2025, Orlando's greenhouse gas emissions should be 26-28% below 2005 levels. Parking lot canopies, flotovoltaics (solar panels floating on a reservoir), and solar-powered streetlights are already in place.

A Skills Fair is one of the ways that the Imaging Department at Florida Hospital Apopka keeps current with new procedures, new equipment, what to recycle, and other best practices. Approximately 87% of the staff completed all of the learning experiences at this year's fair.
Online portal makes the most of unsold food
The volunteers at Clean the World on Tuesday evening (9/18/2018) assembled 1500 kits for Hurricane Florence relief. It turned out to be a fun and productive time, sorting and packaging soaps and other supplies. Those are being shipped to Carolina residents who are now without power or away from home in emergency shelters.

Indonesia innovates to reduce plastic waste
Indonesia produces 3.5 million tons of plastic waste each year. Over 1.4 million tons of that end up in global waters. Those acute, visible problems are being addressed. One of Indonesia's more creative solutions has been the use of shredded waste plastic in road tar. The result has been found to be more durable than conventional roads
