Dear Praying Brothers and Sisters,
 Thank you so much for your partnership in the gospel! God has done so much since we arrived in PNG. Tremendous things have been happening at the church plant in Sagifa. While we were in the states, the church people and Pastor Jack completed the new bambo and kunai grass church building. As we planned the opening for the new building, Seko, the village leader, was really insistent that we needed to reach out to the whole village by sharing the gospel and giving them a meal. The people really gave sacrificially to provide the food and decorations for the church building. God did exceedingly beyond what we could ask or imagine when many men and women from the village came out. Bill Smith preached a clear presentation of the gospel and we all enjoyed a good meal. Please pray as we have decided to hold special evangelistic meetings the first Friday of every month. We have already seen a new fellow coming to our Wednesday night prayer meeting.
Thank you for all your prayers as we traveled back from the USA. We were a real sight with a toddler, an infant, seven totes, printer, car seat, and several carryons. The best part was when one of the airline workers told me the printer was to heavy and asked me to take 15 pounds off of it. Ha! Which part of the printer don’t we need? Praise God everything made it through safely! The new printer and projectors have already been a great blessing to the Bible College. Thank you for your sacrifices that made it possible.
Please be in prayer for a special men’s meeting October 8-12th. We are hoping to get a number of men from Sagifa to attend. Tim will be doing a couple afternoon workshops on carpentry to teach the men some basic skills and build relationships with them. Please pray for Brother Bill, Tim, and the other national pastors as they also speak at the night meetings. We really want to see the Lord move in a mighty way in the lives of Bena men.
