Some of you might see the image above and be wondering how the band, twenty one pilots, could possibly be art inspiration. Their new album, Trench (link to YouTube playlist), releases on October 5th and is set in an alter-reality world which explores battling personal demons and insecurities. It appears that this album ties in with their previous album and I really loved this fan video series (Video 1, Video 2) examining details in lyrics, visuals, and online information the band has shared. I think it's awesome the way they are openly discussing mental health and planning so far ahead with their creative arc!

Pattern Drop - Flight Path Quilt
It's hard to keep a secret, so I am glad to finally get to share the details of my collaboration with Pattern Drop with you today! Originally, I signed a contract to share one of my previous quilt pattern designs with Pattern Drop subscribers, but I know we all love a new pattern (right??), so instead I am excited to announce the release of the Flight Path Quilt pattern today through Pattern Drop.
The Flight Path quilt design was inspired by runway markings and airplane silhouettes. The pattern is written so that you can make the most of directional prints used within the arrow shapes, keeping everything pointed in the same direction. The pattern includes instructions for creating your own version of the quilt in 4 different sizes: baby, lap, twin, and queen (lap size shown above; baby size shown below).

If you would like the Flight Path quilt pattern, and you are not already a Pattern Drop subscriber, here are a few options for purchase:
- 4 Month Pattern Drop Subscription - With a Pattern Drop membership, you will get a fully tested, tech edited quilt pattern delivered to your inbox each month. This membership includes 4 new, original patterns, designed by 4 different designers, sent to you in the months of October, November, December, and January. I hope you are excited about the Flight Path quilt pattern release through Pattern Drop today. It is a quilt I have made several times and I have had a lot of requests for a full pattern.
In a little over a week I will be visiting with the Greenville MQG in South Carolina. I am excited to see a lot of great friends in the area, too!
