Celebrating Success
To celebrate the success of the children, during the assembly each week two children are presented an award. The children are nominated by the class teacher and the winner is then decided by the administrators. All nominations and the reason for being nominated are read out before the final awards are given. Each week during the assembly, all Reading Eggs and Maths Seeds certificates are given out. The house point total for the term are also announced ensuring that everyone knows where the teams stand working to the overall Academic Award at the end of the school year.
Each Friday after the assembly, the children enjoy Golden Time. This is where the children get to choose an activity as a celebration of keeping the Golden Rules each week.
The Golden Rules are;
We are kind and gentle.
We are honest.
We look after property.
We work hard.
We listen.
Encouraging the Golden Rules at all time ensures a safe and fun learning environment for the children.
Ms. Jeab left on maternity leave last Friday and we have fantastic news. Ms. Jeab gave birth to baby Kelly at 5.22am on Monday 17th September. We would like to congratulate Mr. Ted and Ms. Jeab on the safe arrival of Kelly.
Snacks and birthdays
Every day children are provided with as much fruit as they would like to eat at all break times. if you do send in snacks for your child, please do not send cakes, chocolate and biscuits. Only healthy snacks please. You are more than welcome to send a birthday cake in for the afternoon break at 2pm for your child's birthday so they can celebrate with their friends. Please inform their teacher.
Busy Bees Toddler Group
Our toddler group began last week and is as exciting as ever. It will be in the school library every Thursday morning from 9am - 10am with lots of fun activities and coffee for the parents.
Running Group
Tuesday and Friday 7.45am each week.
