Best Bets for Boston Marathon Qualifying (BQ) Races
|
|

In a career of transcendent performances, Eliud Kipchoge added yet another to his résumé on Sunday. Kipchoge, widely considered the greatest marathoner of all time, smashed the world record by 78 seconds in Berlin, finishing in a head-spinning (and quad-aching) time of 2:01:39 to capture his 10th win in 11 career marathons. Before the race, Scott Cacciola of The New York Times did what Kipchoge's competition could not, as he caught up with Kenya's joyful and soft-spoken champion.
