NORTH TEXAS GIVING DAY, SEPT 20

North Texas Giving Day (NTGD) 2018 is September 20, from 6 am to midnight. Everyone can go to the NTGD web site (NorthTexasGivingDay.org) and donate to any of over 2000 nonprofit organizations. Each organization will receive a bonus in addition to the actual donations. This is a way for everyone to support the nonprofit organizations which help their local community. New this year: Starting September 10, you can use the NTGD web site to schedule a donation, which will be applied on September 20. To do this, you have to create a free account, but that also keeps a record of all your donations.

If your company offers matching funds for your donations, you may use your receipt to prove your donation, but your company will need to donate directly to the nonprofit, NOT via the NTGD web site.

|
NTGD is the largest community-wide giving event in the nation. For the past 10 years, the COMMUNITIES FOUNDATION OF TEXAS has sponsored NTGD to empower everyone to give back to the community via one easy-to-use platform. Nonprofit organizations register with the web site, and on the designated day, everyone can go to the web site and donate to any of the nonprofits. Last year, $39 million was raised through more than 137,000 donations benefiting over 2,700 local nonprofits, including NTTDS. Since 2009, over $195 million has been donated. During NTGD, everyone has the opportunity to be a philanthropist to build a stronger and more vibrant community.
