ALL STAKEHOLDERS WORKING HARD TO RESOLVE STUDENTS CHALLENGES


The Durban University of Technology’s Director: Special Projects in the Vice-Chancellor’s Office and Interim Executive for Student Services, Dr David Mohale confirmed that DUT Management and the Student Representative Council (SRC) met with the delegation of NSFAS senior officials on Wednesday, 19 September 2018 at DUT’s Steve Biko Campus, to resolve outstanding NSFAS related issues.

According to Dr Mohale the meeting discussed various categories of students affected by the SBux system.

STUDENTS TO SHOWCASE “ART OF FASHION” AT DUT’S ANNUAL FASHION SHOW


The Durban University of Technology’s, Department of Fashion and Textiles will host its annual Fashion Show from Thursday, 4 to Friday, 5 October 2018 at DUT’s Fred Crookes Sports Centre on the Steve Biko Campus in Durban. The coveted event will showcase the designs of 25 third year students with the best 25 ranges showcased at the gala evening, on Friday 5 October.

A goal-driven researcher and lecturer with a passion for academic excellence – the Durban University of Technology’s (DUT’s) Dr Odunayo Magret Olarewaju wants to use her impressive educational achievements to inspire students’ to surpass their goals.

“I mentor students, I advise them, and I help them in their research papers. I mingle with them to find solutions in their subject areas,” said Dr Olarewaju.
