30-Day Challenge to Own Your Career

Do you find yourself wanting to make changes in your personal and professional life but not quite sure how to begin? Join us during the month of October for our 30-day challenge to own your career and life by identifying and taking some next steps towards where you want to be. You can participate in our challenge, "Reflect, Check, Next," by following along with us on our new Instagram account @LifeAfterWake. Each day, we will be posting quick action items and resources to help you reflect on where you are in your career and life, to encourage you to check in with your mentors and advisers to gather feedback, and ultimately to set some goals for what comes next.

To fully engage with the 30-day challenge, we encourage you to:
1. Follow us on Instagram @LifeAfterWake.
2. Like and comment on the daily challenge posts - and get entered into a drawing for a free copy of our book, "Five For Your First Five: Own Your Career and Life After College."
3. Repost and share about the challenge with your followers on Instagram.
Chelsea Keen ('12), now a career coach at Penn State, provides tips for connecting your international experiences (studying or working abroad, traveling) and intercultural skill set to your career.

"The truth is that our finest moments are most likely to occur when we are feeling deeply uncomfortable, unhappy, or unfulfilled. For it is only in such moments, propelled by our discomfort, that we are likely to step out of our ruts and start searching for different ways or truer answers."
