Letters to the Editor - Referendum on Electoral Reform
The referendum on electoral reform is an extremely rare opportunity to advance our democracy by making it fairer, less prone to special interests and more representative of all British Columbians.
A steady stream of letters to the editor in support of proportional representation (PR) in our local newspapers will help encourage dialogue and raise awareness on the importance of voting in the
upcoming referendum. Click here for letter writing points.

Letters to FLNRORD - Forests, Lands, Natural Resource Operations and Rural Development
The battle to protect our water continues. "Attention must be focused on the FLNRORD decision team in Nanaimo to seek a denial of the amendment to the Merville water-withdrawal licence", states Bruce Gibbons founder of the Merville Water Guardians.
If you haven't already done so, please email the FLNRORD Ministers listed below, encouraging them to deny the amendment, respect the CVRD denial of the rezoning and honour the overwhelming opposition to this water-bottling proposal.
