We thought about a great way for you to meet some of our Professional Members here at Arts For Health Sarasota-Manatee from the comfort of your own computer or phone. This is also an opportunity for us to share the various ways art and creative expression may be used and how our members are teaching, working, or volunteering in your community.
Please, meet Linda Odom...
Expressive artist Linda Odom worked with Tony, a private patient with dementia, for a year and half.  She describes him as a phenomenal painter throughout his life.  “Near the end, he still tried despite not recalling how to hold a brush,” she says.  “Working with him was life-changing.” Click here for more...
Back in August, Arts for Health Sarasota-Manatee (AFHS-M) was invited to participate at a pilot Wellness Fair hosted by Baltimore Oriels at the ballpark in Sarasota. We asked available Professional Member to come out to represent AFHS-M and their business to share with community patrons the importance and value of creativity to their health. Thank you, Jennifer Grondahl, Director or Corporate and Community Partnerships, for inviting us to participate in this groundbreaking event.  Thank you, Victoria, Tamara, Scott, Maxine, Cynthia for helping to share our passion for creativity and health within the community.
