2018 CALL FOR NOMINATIONS

10 Things You Should Know ...
  1. The Buffalo Translational Consortium (BTC) Clinical Research Achievement Awards honor outstanding accomplishments in clinical research.
  2. The competition seeks to identify major advances resulting from the region's investment in research to benefit the health and welfare of our community.
  3. Eligible studies must have been published OR be in press in a peer-reviewed journal during calendar year 2018.
  4. Entries should exhibit innovation, creativity and scientific advancement in clinical research.
  5. They should contribute to the understanding of human disease and physiology, and demonstrate an impact on the understanding, prevention, diagnosis or treatment of disease.
  6. Research must have been performed at a Buffalo Translational Consortium institution.
  7. University at Buffalo or Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center investigators must have served as the first or senior author.
  8. In addition to the esteem of your peers, you will receive an invitation to present your research at the CTSI Annual Forum in March.
  9. The winner also receives a travel stipend to Translational Science 2019, the annual ACTS Conference in Washington, D.C., March 5-8, 2019.
  10. Nominees are encouraged to enter the 2019 Top Ten Clinical Research Achievement Awards presented by the Clinical Research Forum.

HOW TO SUBMIT YOUR NOMINATION 

The Buffalo Translational Consortium Clinical Research Achievement Awards honor outstanding accomplishments in clinical research that have been published in major journals during 2018 in which University at Buffalo or Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center investigators serve as the first or senior author. 

Download the nomination form (at right) and submit your nomination packet as per the instructions. Email to erinobyr@buffalo.edu no later than 9 a.m. on Tuesday, October 9, 2018.
