We look forward to sharing food and community with you as we close another year of international solidarity. As I write this, thousands of Guatemalans from student, campesino, and feminist organizations are participating in a national strike to demonstrate their opposition to recent political developments that threaten the country's institutions and raise grave concerns for the safety and security of social and environmental activists.
