On assignment...

Dear <<First Name>>,

The Lord Jesus Christ gave us our assignment before He ascended into heaven. His directive was to "Go!" Preach the gospel, and make disciples! This is our objective in India... the fulfillment of the Great Commission.

This heavenly assignment takes us to many remote places, as well as to bustling cities. This week I visited the central Himalayan city of Darjeeling, West Bengal. There I visited a family who doesn't yet know the transforming love of Jesus. The family's only daughter has become a Christian, and after the father of the home passed away, the door for the gospel has swung open. We are praying for this family's salvation.

I then visited the small tea estate settlement of Singtom about 30 minutes from Darjeeling Town. There I met with a group of disciples to teach them on the subject of faith. We spent about 6 hours together before I returned to Gangtok, which was a 60-mile drive that took over 4 hours.

Precious believers in Christ -- hungry and thirsty for God's Word and Spirit.

Next week I will travel to Punjab, North India to help prepare for a large-scale gospel campaign in a city there. Our work continues as we seek to reach the nation of India and beyond with the gospel!
