This week at Hope Church we are going to dive together into the Gospel of Matthew. Christ’s Sermon on the Mount was truly good news. It is filled with challenge and encouragement. Christ’s first public address was counter-cultural and remains incredibly relevant in our world today. Come and join us at Hope Church on this journey!

Hope Church Membership Class
Membership classes begin this Sunday, September 23. If you are interested in becoming a member of Hope Church, or just want to learn more about the Evangelical Free Church of America, please attend. Classes will meet on 9/23, 9/30, and 10/7 from 8:45-9:45 in the Library. If you have any questions, please contact Pastor Nate.
Small Groups - Starting this week!
Small groups are a great way to go deeper with God and with others. We encourage everyone to get involved! This fall we will study the book, Counterfeit Gods, by Timothy Keller. Sign up in the foyer for the group that works best for you! *A new group has been added. Kevin and Jan Traurig will host a group at their home in Centuria on Sundays at 5:30, starting on October 7.
Prayer at Hope Church
We want to pray with you and for you! For the next three Sundays, while the membership class is going on, the prayer team will meet in the sanctuary at 9am. Please join us whenever it works for you! Don't forget, an Elder is available for prayer each Sunday after the worship service. You may also send prayer requests to prayer@hefc.org. Please let us know how we can pray for you!
Ladies' Book Club, September 25 at 5:30p
We will finish up with discussion of the final chapters of Lies Women Believe on Tuesday, September 25 at 5:30pm at Katie Severson's home. Please contact Katie if you have any questions (715-417-1595).
See You At The Pole, September 26 at 7a
STUDENTS! Meet at your school's flag pole this Wednesday starting at 7am! See You At The Pole brings students from around the world to their school's flag pole as they pray for one another and their schools, communities, and whatever is on their hearts. This past week, Hope Church was blessed to host a community See You At The Pole rally. Hundreds of youth filled the sanctuary for games, worship, prayer, and a message. Thank you to the many from Hope Church who made this possible!
Red Cross Blood Drive, October 8 from 12:30-6:30p
We look forward to hosting a Red Cross Blood Drive on Monday, October 8 from12:30-6:30pm. Donating blood is a wonderful way to serve those in need -- and the need is GREAT! You may sign up for a donation time here, or just walk in. We are also in need of volunteers to help us run the event! Please sign up in the foyer if you can help with registration, the canteen, or clean-up. Thank you!
Men's Breakfast, October 20 at 8a
Men, please join us at Hope Church for breakfast, fellowship, and prayer/devotion. A sign-up sheet is in the foyer if you are able to bring something to share. All are welcome!
