What to know and where to go in Detroit

Welcome to the weekend! A couple things I wanted to highlight.

Had a little debate on the show about whether or not a "new" bar could be a dive bar, specifically about Second Best. As a dive bar connoisseur, I'm not so sure. Here's that chat.

Also, our City 5 is right here to help with your weekend fun plans around town.

I'll be bopping around Ferndale at some point (yes, I do in fact travel in the suburbs from time to time) for the DIY Fest happening this weekend. Always great to see all the local artisans, food trucks and local musicians. There's more about that over on their website.

As always, there's more of our stories and podcasts down if you scroll down on this email.

Have an awesome weekend,

-Jer
