The marathon will be led by Hans Ulrich Obrist, Artistic Director of the Serpentine Galleries in London, and one of the world's leading curators, critics, and art historians. Presented by the Chicago Humanities Festival in partnership with EXPO CHICAGO and Art Design Chicago, an initiative of the Terra Foundation for American Art. Surface is the official media partner of Creative Chicago.

Join us for the launch of Art on the Mart, the inaugural public initiative to turn the limestone facade of Chicago's 1930 Merchandise Mart into a nearly three-acre riverfront canvas, with works from local and international artists projected along the art deco masterpiece. Remarks at 7:15pm.
