Do you export defence and strategic goods or technology?
Your business must meet certain requirements when exporting controlled goods or technologies. These include military or commercial items that have a potential military end use or could be used in developing chemical, biological or nuclear weapons systems. You can learn about these requirements at one of the upcoming Defence Export Controls outreach events.
The next outreach events are in Adelaide on 6 November and Sydney on 13 November. Registration for these events opens 15 October.
Can your innovation help the US Air Force?
AFWERX in the USA has recently launched two challenges to industry for ideas and solutions to strengthen the US Air Force. The challenges, which relate to helmet systems and pilot training, are open to Australian industry to submit proposals.
The Pilot Training Next v2.0 challenge closes tomorrow, 5 October 2018. The USAF new helmet system open challenge closes Monday, 8 October 2018.
Join Team Defence Australia
Team Defence Australia (TDA) supports export-capable Australian companies by facilitating networking and engagement at international trade shows.
A delegation of 36 companies will be exhibiting at AUSA2018 in Washington D.C. next week, and a further 24 will showcase their capabilities at Euronaval in Paris at the end of this month.
