Have your say on a draft policy for the treatment of varicose veins

NHS Morecambe Bay Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) is working in partnership with the other seven CCGs in Lancashire and South Cumbria to review clinical policies across the region.

The eight CCGs across Lancashire and South Cumbria have agreed that there is a need to review their policies to: ensure a consistent and fair approach across the region; update current policies in accordance with National Guidelines and best clinical practice and to make sure it is using its limited resources to maximum effect.

As part of this ongoing process, the policy for the treatment of varicose veins is now available for patient and public engagement and feedback.

For more information or to complete the survey, visit the Morecambe Bay CCG website.

Developing the long-term plan for the NHS - have your say

The NHS is now working on a plan setting out ambitions for improvement over the next decade, and plans to meet them over the five years of the new funding settlement. As part of that process it is vital that all those who rely on and work in or alongside the NHS have the opportunity to contribute their ideas, experiences and insights.

An NHS England discussion guide (also available in an easy read version) has therefore been produced to help stimulate those ideas and understand views across three key themes – life stage, clinical priorities and enablers of improvement – each covering a number of different areas which they believe have the greatest potential to deliver improvements to the way the NHS provides care.

Find out more about the long-term plan and have your say.
