Kia ora Shifterhood!

These wonder wāhine from He Huarahi Tamariki, in the photo above, have been training hard and looking forward to their netball tournament for weeks. Teamies, Tahi and Simone made the journey with them to Palmerston North where they played against all the other teen parent schools in the lower North Island.

The girls went undefeated, winning the whole tournament! It was great to see them rewarded as champs, but better to see them all being active, laughing, connecting and having fun. Thanks for letting Shift be part of your journey, can’t wait to see what we can get up to next!

We'd like to shout out to our friends at Trade Me NZ for donating The Shift Foundation an awesome desktop computer, to enable Shift to keep doing what we do. Thank you for your generosity Trade Me, we really appreciate it!

The Shift Foundation Annual Report 2017/18 is now available on the Shift website. This is a celebration of the Shift programmes our amazing delivery partners have led, the young women whom they have connected with, and the evolution of The Shift Foundation.
It's that time again! The October Just Shift It Holiday programme is back and better than ever. Our Shift Coordinators have been busy getting feedback from young women and finding out what they'd like to do these holidays.

The feature Shifterhood events kick off with a Pool Party at the NZ Police College, Skateboarding with Onboard Skate and Self Defense.

There are also loads of smaller regional events happening around Wellington, Lower and Upper Hutt, Porirua and Kapiti.

Check out the full line up on the Shift website and tell ALL the young women you know to get involved, try a new activity and meet some new friends!
