It's been one year since Hurricane María began its path of destruction and devastation through the Caribbean, wreaking havoc on Barbuda, Dominica, the US Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico and parts of Cuba. Raíces is continuing to assist and support grassroots organizations focused on a sustainable, renewable and just recovery on the island of Puerto Rico. Join us this Saturday, September 22 as we present a benefit concert featuring traditional jíbaro music from the island of Puerto Rico with Gabriel Muñoz & Melodías Borinqueñas. Raíces will also premiere our short documentary film, "Relief, Renewal & Resilience: Reflections on Hurricane María and her Aftermath."
