The deadline to apply for our Music Company Development program is Wednesday, September 19. This program supports the sustainability, growth and capacity of BC's music companies.

Out-of-province and international artists are eligible to receive funding for sound recording through the Record in BC stream of the Career Development program - applications are due Wednesday, September 26

Meet Creative BC at Breakout West

Breakout West is Western Canada's largest music industry event, featuring a 4-day conference, 60+ showcasing bands and the WCMA Awards. Join Creative BC staff at Breakout West to learn about Amplify BC programs. 

Information Sessions | October 11-13 One-on-One Meetings | October 12-14
Schedule a one-on-one meeting with Creative BC staff to ask questions about your career or project and how they fit within Creative BC’s funding programs. 

There is no cost to attend Creative BC info sessions; wristbands are not required for these events. 
Meet Creative BC in Kelowna!
Music BC has launched their Let's Hear It! Concert Series - offering unsigned artists a chance to perform for a live audience, hone their skills and engage fans and the local music industry. 
Join the Vancouver Independent Music Centre Society (VIM House) to discuss sustainable models and strategies for a new music presentation/creation venue in Northeast False Creek. Admission is free, RSVP to attend. 
You're invited to the Women in Music BC Entrepreneur Accelerator Program Introduction + Networking Event on September 27th in Vancouver.  Provide input before this program launches in BC in the spring of 2019. Learn more...
