"A Giving Church" Sermon Series
Bro. Shawn is leading us through a sermon series entitled "A Giving Church" for the next several weeks. We believe the journey of faith is a call to giving. At Wilmont, we are learning to abandon the religious consumer-minded culture so we can give our lives in service to God.

You're Invited!
Jacob would like to invite all who are interested to come fill our choir loft and sing this Sunday, Sept 23rd. Come at 9:00 am for rehearsal in the sanctuary. You can visit the music ministry page at www.WilmontPlace.com/music to view the songs for the week. We hope to see you there!

Forever Young Sunday School 5th Sunday Brunch
Forever Young Sunday School Department (for 55-65'ers) will have breakfast in the Fellowship Hall followed by Sunday School. See Diana Satterlee to find out what to bring.

Trunk or Treat Candy Needed!
Have you seen the car in the breezeway?!?! We need to fill it up with candy for our Trunk or Treat event on Sunday, Oct 28 from 4:00-6:00 pm. Bring a big bag of individually wrapped candy or place a donation to purchase candy in the basket by the car.

Baptist Messenger Changes
The Baptist Messenger will be changing October 1 in response to changes at the BGCO. To see more info about our newsletter and the Baptist Messenger go to www.WilmontPlace.com/newsletter.

Welcome Back to Wednesday Supper!
We appreciate our cooks and hope they had a wonderful break. Here are a few suggestions we believe will help us to be good stewards.
  • New Prices - Adults $4, Children $2 (12 & under)
  • Reservations and Cancellations - Our cooks have to know how much food to purchase and prepare. Please make reservations and cancellations by noon on Tuesday. If you have to cancel after that time, be prepared to pay for your missed meal. The food was already purchased.
  • Youth - Our Youth count is sometimes unpredictable. If you'd like to make a donation of $1 or $2 dollars for the youth who don't have family here at Wilmont, that would be a great ministry to our youth and our budget!
  • To-Go boxes will be prepared for those who sign up and pay for the To-Go meals. We realize situations arise, e.g. sickness, work schedule changes, etc.
  • Be sure to thank the cooks! This ia a volunteer ministry which makes it possible for us to come straight from work or to have time for a meal before Bible study or choir. Any help with clean up is always appreciated.

TULSA—God often calls people to leave the United States to take the Gospel to the mission field around the world. Yet sometimes He brings the mission field to the United States. Below is one of many ESL classes posing for a group picture.
